Vayon & Thresia Stark were simply incredibly close, their ages not far apart, yet Vayon was the older of the two.

Protective of his younger sibling to a fault, he loved her ever so much, till the day they were separated.

Betrothed at birth to a very young, then, Byron Mormont,
the fifth son of Lord Jorel Mormont, commander of the Nightswatch.

Thresia, was later at the tender age of ten wed to a then very young Sixteen year old. Who did not care to take a wife, and cared more for playing in the forest and raping young girls. He'd paid scant attention to some flat chested pimply faced girl with scrawny arms and pudgy cheeks.

Thresia at that age was one that enjoyed playing with her dolls, her direwolf and in the woods whenever she could get away.

And as the years passed, and her beauty blossomed, At the age of thirteen, her menses began and her father was informed by the girls Ladies Maid of her body beginning its cycles. The House of Mormont was notified of this change in events, the son whom had never willingly laid eyes upon the young Stark girl, blazed with heat and lust at the vision of her sweet innocence, taking her away would be easy, he would pluck her maidenhead from her flower by force if need be, an she would be his in every conceivable imaginable sinful way.

Byron, being much older than she, (she was 13 and he was 23 at when he rode to Winterfell to claim his then wife for the first time ever.) He was purposely cruel to her in the beginning, he did not know how else to be to a woman, especially a young wife, he was quite used to getting what he wished, how he wished it and when he wished it.

The station of the woman meant nothing to him, save that she was now a mare to be bred.  And breed her he would, or at least attempt to.

Unbeknownst to him she found herbs in the woods that prevented her from becoming pregnant in the 10 years that followed, much to his displeasure.

And though her family was kept muchly in the dark about the treatment of the youngest of the Starks, she was beaten soundly for her opinionated ways, although they continued to be banner holders of the Starks, and had been allied through Marriage, he attempted to force her to bear his children, for he'd gotten 3 other servant girls with child, why would his wife not take his seed?

Byron took to whores and staying out late with his friends and guards, leaving her alone in their chambers.  She secretly prayed to the old gods that her marriage would end. Upon a hunting trip, Lord Byron was ambushed and killed by a group of brigands, (although rumors abound that he was drunk and killed by Tarl, the captain of his guard).

Her sister in law, Miere, who  hated her, had her removed from The Hall of Mormont, and the name of Mormont stripped from her.  With her husband dead, and a Sister in Law who cared less than little for her, Thresia took the only one thing that ever gave her a smile from The hall of Mormont, a young twenty year old confidant and friend named Orica.

Miere allowed her to return home with her Trousseau intact, eighty thousand in gold and the twenty something knights who had come with her ten years prior.

It was Orica, that suggested that she return to Winterfell. Taking Orica's words to heart, since she had nowhere else to go, she set off on boat to return to Winterfell, or be turned away at the gates.

Upon her travels she ran into a terribly handsome man, who's charm and courage where her downfall, and yet she did not trust men much, she would smile to him as they rode along side one another, he on his Destrier, and she on her large Draft Mare, Notte.  They had yet to introduce themselves to one another, and so it was, that he had chosen to accompany her to Winterfell.

When she returned to Winterfell, she was met with not only a open gate, (a northern sign of acceptance) but a grand feast thrown by her brother and sister in law.  She was told that she was now home.  Her brother, was shocked at whom had escorted his sister back, but none other than their Second Cousin, Lord Jayke Stark. It was unbeknownst to them all that they were related - in effect, both Lady Thresia  and Lord Jayke had become quite besotted with one another.  Lord Jayke had been returning from the Wars abroad. When He had seen the beautiful young woman on the Kings Road, He knew he must have her, He had not figured on the smiling adoration of one very pretty, and recently widowed Lady Thresia Stark, who could not take her eyes from Him.  One thing would lead to another, and sooner than later, they would fall in love...Now her new story begins... a new home with old family... unknown to what her fate was tied to the shadows on the horizon.
